Kelly McKnight, M.S. Ed

Special Education Advocate


Kelly has been working in the education field in various capacities for over ten years. She has been a general education teacher, special education teacher, Response to Intervention (RTI) coordinator, and a private tutor for children in elementary through high school. Additionally, Kelly has several years of experience working in education research and program evaluation for universities and non-profits.

Kelly's motivation to pursue a career in education was to ensure that all children, particularly children with special needs and disabilities, have access to high-quality and equitable educational opportunities. She empathizes with parents' concerns and assists them in creating a strategic path forward that will foster their child's growth. Kelly is solution-oriented and able to leverage her experience in the public school system, knowledge of education policy, research skills, and compassion to address your concerns. She is eager to collaborate with you!

Kelly holds a Master of Science degree in Education Policy from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary and Exceptional Student Education from the University of Miami. Kelly has Florida Department of Education teaching licenses in Elementary Education and Exceptional Student Education, as well as endorsements in Reading and English for Speakers of Other Languages. 

Susan Macri, M. Ed.

Special Education Advocate


Mrs. Macri has over thirty years of experience working in the field of special education.  She began her career as a special education teacher where she had the honor of teaching children with disabilities from grades pre-K through high school.  After teaching for 10 years, she transitioned into the role of Special Education Director where she was able to work collaboratively with families to assure that their child received appropriate specialized instruction.  


Mrs. Macri is passionate about special education and has an in-depth knowledge of special education law.  She will listen to your concerns and advocate with the school to assure that your child receives the services he/she needs to make progress toward their educational goals.  Her collaborative approach provides the best outcome for student success.  


Mrs. Macri has a Bachelor of Science degree in special education from Boston University and a Master of Education degree in Special Education Leadership from the University of Southern Maine. Please contact us today if we can be of help to you and your family.
