Kelly has been working in the education field in various capacities for over ten years. She has been a general education teacher, special education teacher, Response to Intervention (RTI) coordinator, and a private tutor for children in elementary through high school. Additionally, Kelly has several years of experience working in education research and program evaluation for universities and non-profits.

Kelly's motivation to pursue a career in education was to ensure that all children, particularly children with special needs and disabilities, have access to high-quality and equitable educational opportunities. She empathizes with parents' concerns and assists them in creating a strategic path forward that will foster their child's growth. Kelly is solution-oriented and able to leverage her experience in the public school system, knowledge of education policy, research skills, and compassion to address your concerns. Kelly holds a Master of Science degree in Education Policy from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary and Exceptional Student Education from the University of Miami. Kelly has Florida Department of Education teaching licenses in Elementary Education and Exceptional Student Education, as well as endorsements in Reading and English for Speakers of Other Languages.
